Luangprabang
is one of the most beautiful towns in LaoPDR, filled with historical
architecture and sitting on the promontory of two adjoining rivers,
one the Mekong and the other Nam Khan. Luangprabang is in northern
Laos, approximately eight hours from Vang Vieng by bus.
There
are TWO PlaNet cafes in Luangprabang.
They
can be found on the same road, Sisavangvong Road, one of the main
shopping areas in Luangprabang. The National Museum (formerly
the Kings palace) is also located on this road.
Our
first cafe, the one near Vat Siphoutthabeth, currently hosts eight
computers which will be upgraded to fourteen within the next two
months, in recognition of the growing number of tourists.
The
second PlaNet cafe has five computers, and can be found next to
Vat Mai.
